Shopping and browsing opportunities abound for all ages and stages. The Windsor Craft Markets are every Sunday and offer great locally grown food and handmade crafts. An eclectic selection of discount stores and specialty shops means in Windsor you can buy an Alligator Purse, English humbug confections, a ukulele, handbeaten Peruvian silver jewellery, a poncho, magnificent scented candles, hand beaded necklaces, shoes and matching handbag, designer dresses, Bali or French-inspired homewares and Footy team collectables.

Windsor is Entertainment
Live bands perform at the many historic pubs, there are jazz cruises on the Hawkesbury Paddle Wheeler, ghost tours and free music on the weekends in the Mall. Annually Windsor hosts the Sydney Blues & Roots Festival on the last weekend of October with world class performers

Windsor is for Water Lovers
The Hawkesbury River at Windsor offers beach space, water skiing, ski boats, cruising and canoeing. Along the water’s edge there are shady picnic tables, walk ways and observation decks for families to reconnect and the kids to let off steam.

Sydney Blues & Roots Festival

Canoe Classic

Hawkesbury Canoe Classic
This is a fun paddle with a serious purpose. Each year around 600 paddlers paddle  111 km overnight in the moonlight, down the Hawkesbury River from Windsor to Brooklyn, to raise money for charity on the last Saturday in October. For more info click here.

Bridge to Brige Ski Race
The 2012 Bridge to Bridge Water Ski Classic will be held on 1st and 2nd December. It is a great adventure that commences at Dangar Island in Broken Bay and proceeds along the length of the Hawkesbury River finishing in the historic town of Windsor.
